Figuring out sizing is never easy. That’s why we also have FREE EXCHANGES. Most people find our size recommendation gives them a proper fit, but just in case, we have a free exchange program for all UK orders.

For Women looking to buy the Men’s version because it is wider – the conversion rate is 1 times, e.g. a Women’s 8 is a Men’s 7.

Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

FAQs

Why don’t you use leather or hemp laces?

You can use almost anything for lacing huaraches.

In my testing, though, I found some issues with hemp and leather that I didn’t like:

Both leather and hemp tended to stretch, especially when moist
Both leather and hemp tighten and stiffen when they dry
Both leather and hemp wear out faster than our polyester laces
Leather is much more expensive
Most leather laces are rectangular, and the edges can dig into your skin
Leather isn’t vegan (for those who care about that)
Leather and hemp don’t give you as many fun colour choices

The 100% polyester cord we use is strong, light, and doesn’t stretch or tighten, especially when wet.

Also, I prefer the “slip-on” method of tying which works best with a round lace, rather than a flat one (like leather).

Needless to say, you can replace the lace we send you with whatever you like.

How do I send a gift certificate?

NO SHOES RECEIVED

Ordered these 3 weeks ago and nothing has arrived. Then you have the nerve to ask me for a review. So here it is. Either you're scammers or your delivery system is rubbish. Which is it?

Comfy lightweight sandals

Very happy with these overall. Straps are comfy and stay put on your feet. Easy to adjust. You feel like you have no shoes on at all. Only downside is that the soles are quite floppy next to my smaller toes, so that there's a risk of stumbling, which is why I'd personally probably use different sandals for a hike or run. The sizing table needs adjusting. The EU and UK sizes make no sense next to the US sizes. Also the sizes in cm or mm need to be added to the chart as they're currently only on the printouts.

Minimalist Appeal, Comfort Falls Short

I’m a big fan of the thin, minimal sole—it's exactly what I look for in a sandal. Unfortunately, no matter how carefully I adjust the straps, I just can’t get these to fit my feet comfortably. I really wanted to love them for their barefoot feel, but the fit just doesn’t work for me

Disappointed. Be cautious. Sizing completely wrong.

Awful experience. Size I selected, added to my basket and purchased was not what I received. I was told I would not be provided with a full refund for this. I could have a code equivalent to the P&P to use on a reorder. I was told they are aware there is a problem with sizing chart/selection for this shoe and recommended locating and printing the foot measuring guide then converting, noting must print to scale. Also, that most just place another order (whilst awaiting refund) to find the right size. This is not something everyone can afford. Exchange is a return and reorder situation. This means if it’s not right and you don’t want to wait weeks you have to return, pay again and wait for a refund from the first order. It’s been weeks for me.
